Hi! I’m Katerina, a native Greek speaker fluent in English. I grew up in Greece and currently study at the Department of Education. I’m passionate about languages, communication, and teaching. One fun fact about me: I absolutely love chocolate ! I love all kinds of art and travelling. I have been an erasmus student in Spain and loved the culture (trying to learn spanish) I'm friendly, patient, and love connecting with people from all walks of life. Also I know how it feels to learn a new language and how chaotic it gets. So trust me when I say I get it and we can do this together calmly.

Me as a Teacher

I believe that learning should be enjoyable and tailored to each person’s needs. I have helped kids learn english and I have helped greek kids learn better greek. I am patient and understandable to a student's needs. Having experience with children makes teaching adults easier, since we all want stuff to be explained to us as simple as If you would be expalining a 5 year old right ? Obviously always based on your needs! Whether you're just starting or brushing up your Greek, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s make learning fun and effective — together!

My lessons & teaching style

As a future educator with hands-on teaching experience, I’ve developed an adaptable and student-centered teaching style. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I work with each student to create a personalized learning experience that matches their goals, pace, and interests. I provide clear, structured lessons, complete with supporting materials and step-by-step guidance. My classes are interactive and engaging — I encourage active participation, not passive listening. Watching my students improve lesson by lesson is the most rewarding part of teaching. If you’re ready to speak Greek like a native, I’m here to help you make it happen.
