Hi! I am Arianna and I work as an Italian teacher in Berlin, Germany, where I moved after my graduation. Music and books are big passions of mine, as well as travelling; nothing beats reading in a beautiful new spot all afternoon - some might even call it la dolce vita! And which better way to discover what this over-used sentence really means than by mastering its language? In my Erasmus Traineeship in Mannheim, at the LEI Institute, I discovered my inner calling for teaching - and since then, i have travelled and taught full time.Me as a Teacher
Having a background both in Didactics and Linguistics, I am able to give you an approach based on theoretical notions with the freshness and curiosity of a newly graduate. Whereas my bachelor in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation and my master in Teaching Italian to Foreigners provided me with the necessary academic knowledge, my 5+ years of teaching have taught me the importance of the single individual's needs and experience. Everything follows what you are and what you desire. Let's work together with that, and i will learn along your side getting to know how you learn better.My lessons & teaching style
As mentioned before, the lessons will follow what the individual needs - and for that i like to discuss a bit, prior to the start, what you want and would like to dp in class. We will follow a manual that we will choose together, and throughout the course, divided in modules, we will always cover speaking, listening, writing, reading and grammatics, with an eye to pragmatic use of italian. Additional material will be provided in the course of the the lessons. I teach from A1 to C2, all levels and ages, in a chill atmosphere; research has shown that an emotional barrier prevents learning! Relax and openness are key, on both sides:)My teaching material
