Greetings, everyone! I'm Dani, and currently residing in Seoul for my Master's Degree at SNU. My daily routine centres around my love for travel, exploring diverse locations, and actively participating in volunteer programs. Interacting with individuals from various countries has imparted valuable conversational skills, positioning me as an engaging discussion partner. During my undergraduate studies in historical studies, I aspired to travel globally. To realize this dream, I prioritize refining my communication skills. Consequently, I am a communicative individual eager to assist others in learning Bahasa Indonesia.
Join me as we embark on this learning adventure together!
Me as a Teacher
I approach teaching with an open mind and emphasize listening before expressing my thoughts. I aim to help you expand your boundaries and gain confidence through consistent practice in Bahasa Indonesia. As a guide, I encourage, support, and maintain open communication, often sharing my travel experiences. I understand that making mistakes is a regular aspect of learning and view them as opportunities for finding practical solutions. Consequently, I avoid making harsh judgments, recognizing that each person has a unique way of expressing themselves in Bahasa Indonesia.
My lessons & teaching style
The format of my lessons is adaptable, allowing students to actively contribute to determining the most effective daily learning techniques. I promote engaging activities like class role plays or simulations to enable students to practice Bahasa Indonesia in authentic scenarios. Moreover, I utilize the PDSA cycle, adhering to the "Plan, Do, See, and Act" methodology, to establish a structured learning journey with my mentor. Through discussions and planning, students can select their preferred methods for speaking and practising Bahasa Indonesia before advancing to more complex sentence structures.

I've had two lessons with Dani so far and it's been good practice with lots of opportunity to learn. He knows the language well, is good at explaining etymology and usage, and situational differences of the language, like formal vs informal, friend vs stranger.
