Hello! I'm Gabriela from Mexico—a Spanish teacher since 2017, single mother, and pole fitness instructor. I studied psychology and contemporary dance, later founding my own pole studio, which I ran before moving abroad. I also volunteered in New Jersey with a social justice organization in 2016. I'm passionate about teaching, fitness, culture, social justice, and exploring how people live around the world. My goal is to make language learning a meaningful, human experience.Me as a Teacher
I am a native Spanish speaker from Mexico who is currently learning English and Russian, so I understand the struggles that you may encounter when trying to learn a new language. I'm looking forward to helping you make your Spanish better and I will help you on how to communicate with Hispanics! For a couple of months I have been living in another country where the language is not my mother tongue so Im aware of all the challenges and problems that someone could face trying to say or ask for necessary things, I know how it feels trying to speak to someone who does not understand you but don’t worry I am here to help you! It is all about patience and practice.My lessons & teaching style
· COMUNITY TUTOR LESSONS:
These lessons are focused on conversation, I will also help you with grammar issues but you will be able to communicate effectively with native speakers.
· PROFESIONAL LESSONS:
-I will make a plan for you depends on your level, I can teach students from A1-B2.
-You need to learns 4 abilities that are: reading, writing, listening, speaking.
-Every lesson will be planned and will have sequence.
-I will give you tools so that you can learn and I will send a plan to make your studies more effective.
-We will have some homework in case the student agrees.My teaching material

I've had 3 lessons now with Gabriela and they've all been wonderful. She does a great job of explaining concepts very thoroughly and then challenging me with examples. She's also very prepared for each session and has specific areas to work on, so if you're just looking for conversation practice or would like to drill down on specific sticking points, I can't recommend her enough. Really, the only problem has been that even the hour goes by so fast since the classes are so engaging!
