I recently returned from living in Honduras as a high school English teacher, and I love to travel! I taught 8-10th-grade English literature, and my favorite part of my job is having discussions within the classroom and challenging my students to debate with each other.Me as a Teacher
I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with three years of teaching experience. I recently taught English Literature at a bilingual school in Honduras, and I taught the TOEFL preparation course. I also worked for two years in the US teaching English to immigrant families. I helped students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and I also helped adults prepare for the U.S. citizenship test.
Some of my students had only been in the U.S. for a few months and knew very little English, while others spoke English well and wanted help getting ready for job interviews or using English at work. Whatever your English level is, I'm here to support you and help you grow! My lessons & teaching style
Our lessons will focus on conversational implementation of English concepts, and I aim to give students frequent opportunities to use speaking to practice concepts. Based on students' needs, lessons can also integrate writing, grammar, and reading.My teaching material
