Hi, I'm Igor. I grew up bilingual in English and Russian. Over the years, I’ve lived in different parts of the U.S., as well as in Russia, Turkey, and Argentina. Each place has taught me something new about language, culture, and how people connect. Aside from learning four languages to various levels, I have worked in translating and over the phone interpreting, so my linguistic skills are immense and would love to use my expertise to help you in your learning process!Me as a Teacher
I’m a calm, thoughtful tutor who’s here to help you speak English with confidence. I know from experience that learning a language takes time, patience, and the right environment. I focus on natural conversation, careful listening, and giving you space to express yourself without pressure. I’ll gently correct you when it’s helpful and let you keep the flow when it’s not. Whether you’re just starting out or working toward fluency, I’ll adapt to your pace and goals. My lessons are relaxed, respectful, and centered on real communication. I’ll help you build confidence by listening carefully, giving feedback when it’s useful, and making sure you always feel comfortable speaking. Whether you’re practicing everyday vocabulary or tackling more complex ideas, I’ll guide the conversation to match your level and goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m into social sciences, geography, literature, and football. I enjoy meaningful conversations and learning how different cultures see the world. Awesome Language Tutor - Highly Recommend!
Igor is very engaging, encouraging, and genuinely helpful! From the very first lesson, I felt like I was talking to a friend. His lessons are a good mix of conversations, useful phrases, and grammar guidance. He knows how to break things down in a way that makes sense.
