Hello, my name is Emily. I am a native English speaker from London with a received pronunciation/ estuary accent. I have a passion for art, travel, culture and psychology.
I have an undergraduate and masters degree in psychology.
I have travelled across the world and love to meet new people and learn about new cultures and ways of life. I can't wait to meet and learn more about you!

Although I am new to Italki, I have mentoring experience and have worked with a variety of people and ages. I have an understanding of diversity, including neurodiversity, that allows me to adapt to your needs and challenges. I am happy to adapt to whatever you are looking for to support your learning, whether that is to develop written, verbal (spoken) or listening skills.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons and informal and largely conversation based. I will start by getting to know you, your goals and your preferred learning style. I will then use this to tailor the session structure to you.
I am open to intermediate to advanced students but am also happy to discuss how I can support beginner and absolute beginner students in my introductory sessions.
I use conversation, video material, written material and question and answer tasks to work towards your goals and I am happy to support you in taking your learning out into the world, with homework tasks.
