After I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for three and half years, I started my nomadic life, traveling mainly in Europe and Latin America. I speak Japanese, English, Spanish and French. (Puedo enseñar japonés en español también.) I love to study foreign languages!! My hobby is traveling, dancing, and workout. I practice classic ballet every week. Let's study together, and laugh a lot together!!!
Me as a Teacher
After I taught Japanese on Skype for one and half years, I moved to Thailand to teach at a Japanese language school. I gained experience of teaching Japanese at the school which is famous and has a good reputation. Not only teaching the grammar, I'm good at teaching how to write Japanese letters (hiragana, katakana and kanji) beautifully.
My lessons & teaching style
The most important thing of language lesson is not taking lessons but acquiring practical skills, so I proceed the course so that my students can review enough.
It seems that many people are afraid of starting to learn Japanese online from scratch, but actually I got quite used to teaching for such students, and I really love that! Feel free to take my trial lesson and experience my method!!

My fiancé and I felt very engaged in Atsuko's first lesson! It was great to jump right into describing people's nationalities and occupations, and learning about negation, pronunciation, and compound sentences!

Had another good lesson with Atsuko-sensei.
She's very patient, and skilful at matching her Japanese to my level, so I can enjoy hearing about what she's been up to and learn a bit about Japanese culture.
The materials for the "Elementary Grammar & Conversation" course are very good too, especially in conjunction with the book.

She’s awesome and helps make sure lessons are enforced and related to real life! I love that I can ask questions about words I hear in Japanese media and she can answer not only the meaning but if it’s a word I should use for my gender and age! THAT sort of learning is what I love!

1 Japanese lesson
Atsuko-san knew immediately how to speak Japanese at my level and slightly above so that it pushed me to learn knew words and corrected me in a constructive way when I made mistakes. I enjoyed the conversation also, so it was fun and educational. Thanks!
