Living in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Born and raised in Hong Kong to Japanese parents, I grew up speaking both English and Japanese. At home I spoke Japanese to my parents and English to my siblings. This allowed me to become fluent in both languages. Growing up visiting Japan played a major role in my Japanese. Additionally, watching football and reading books on Japanese athletes helped improve my Japanese. I attended university in Kyoto, Japan. In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sports, mainly football, and also working out. I'm also interested in many things including learning Portuguese and the guitar. I've taught children football in Cambodia, using both Japanese and English. As a teacher, I emphasize patience, and creating a fun learning environment. I believe that language learning should be fun and enjoyable. I'm also a lifelong learner, and have many interests, and can share the struggles of learning something new.

"We hadn't seen each other in a while, so we had a lot to catch up on — health checkups, English learning, all sorts of things. It was such a good conversation that we totally lost track of time. Sorry about that!"

Go San is always very friendly and patient, he offers to do whatever he can to help you and will happily work outside of lesson times to provide his students with extra materials or useful info. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy going and friendly tutor!
