About Me
italki teacher since May 8, 2026InterestsTravelReadingMusicArtSports & Fitness
I’m a medical doctor and health specialist at the World Health Organization with over 15 years of experience working in international environments, including in Switzerland and Germany. English has been my main working language throughout my career, and I achieved an overall IELTS Academic score of 8.5 with minimal preparation.
Alongside my work, I’ve taught English through Berlitz, GCSE-level instruction, and volunteer work with children and migrants. I enjoy helping people express themselves clearly and confidently, and I bring a structured yet relaxed approach to every session.
As a teacher, I combine experience from both ends of the spectrum: developing and delivering trainings for WHO staff and healthcare professionals, and teaching English in informal settings with underprivileged children and migrant communities. This has made my approach both adaptable and supportive: creating a comfortable environment for speaking practice while providing practical guidance to improve fluency and confidence.
My lessons are practical and conversation-focused. Depending on your goals, we can focus on:
• Everyday conversation and fluency
• Job applications and interview preparation
• IELTS/TOEFL speaking practice
• Professional communication
I tailor each session to your level and goals to ensure lessons are engaging, useful, and relevant to your needs. My teaching material
