I am Dea, and I hold an academic background specialized in language teaching and linguistics, with a PhD in the field. For years, I've been passionately dedicated to education — working with students as well as future foreign language teachers, including at the university level, where I’ve had the opportunity to train those who will one day teach others themselves.
I have degrees in Italian, Latin, and Ancient Greek, and I’ve studied various modern languages — both out of passion and to be able to communicate with people from around the world. I strongly believe that each language is a key that opens cultural doors and fosters deep human connections!Me as a Teacher

At the same time, I’m a practical and efficient person: I’m goal-oriented and determined, but never at the expense of enjoying the journey. I have been taking lessons with Dea for several months and will continue taking lessons with her. She is an exceptional teacher, and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Italian whether a beginner or more advanced. She is very kind, patient, and cares about the progress of her students. She makes our lessons very fun and engaging by using music, videos, conversation, and other interesting activities! Hat viel Spaß gemacht und war sehr hilfreich wie immer! Tipp für alle, die gerne über Hunde reden: Dea ist ausgebildete Hundetrainerin - super Gesprächsthema. Vor zwei Monaten konnte ich zwar einiges auf Italienisch verstehen, aber kaum zwei Sätze hintereinander sagen; jetzt kann ich mich schon über verschiedene Themen unterhalten :) Klare Empfehlung zum Sprechen üben: Conversation lessons mit Dea!
