Hi, I’m James - a CELTA-certified English teacher from the UK.
Since 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of learners reach their goals, from passing exams to finally speaking English with confidence.
I’m a language learner myself.
I learned Spanish to C1 level, and many others (Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, Swedish, Portuguese) to different levels in the past.
I know how frustrating it can be to make mistakes.
I’ll show you how to study smarter, speak confidently, and enjoy the process.
Outside of teaching, I like photography, videography, ambient music, and off-the-beaten-path travel like cycling between cities, finding remote places, and photographing lesser-known places.Me as a Teacher

I have experience in exam prep (FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS) and in fluency coaching, mainly helping speakers of Romance and Slavic languages sound more natural and confident.

CELTA Level 5 - Cambridge Assessment English - 2019To earn my CELTA, I had to go through intensive training in teaching English to adults, including over 120 hours of coursework and supervised teaching practice.
I learned how to plan effective lessons, teach grammar and vocabulary clearly, and manage different classroom levels, from beginners to advanced levels.
CELTA is one of the most respected English teaching qualifications in the world and allows me to teach in language schools and online with a strong professional foundation.
