Hello! My name is Andrew and I'm from the United States. I've been teaching English in Spain for the last five years. My passion for education is evident based on all of the various ways I have taught English throughout the years. I understand the importance of English and its usability all over the world. Some of the interests and hobbies that I have include the likes of traveling, going to the beach, playing basketball, watching TV, spending time with my family and friends, hiking and playing board games. I am very easy to get along with and I can hold a conversation with anybody. I am reliable, dependable, trustworthy and hard-working.Me as a Teacher
I have 5 years of teaching experience in Spain. I worked at a public school teaching kindergarten and primary for two years. I worked at a private school teaching every grade in secondary school for one year. I worked at a half public/private school teaching all of primary and secondary for one year. I worked at an academy giving classes to groups ranging from kids to adults for one year. Finally, I have experience giving private one-on-one English classes to both kids and adults, both in person and online. I became TEFL certified last year during the 22-23 school year and this year I have completed the Expert in Advanced Methodologies for English Teachers course at UIC Catalunya.My lessons & teaching style
English is my passion, and I'm here to help you excel. With 5 years of teaching experience in Spain, I've taught in various settings and have expertise in both in-person and online classes. I am capable of adapting my lesson plans depending on what my student wants. For example, if my student needs to prepare for a Cambridge exam, I am well equipped to do that. If my student wants conversational lessons, I have loads of experience with that as well. I have sufficient material that I use to facilitate my lessons in an effective and fun way.
