Korean Language Teacher | Fluent in Chinese & English Hello, my name is Joy Hwang, and I’m from South Korea. I was born in Seoul, but moved to Shanghai, China, when I was six years old. I lived there until I was nineteen, and then returned to Korea for university. Now I can speak Korean, Chinese, and English fluently. Having personally experienced the challenges of learning foreign languages, I truly understand the difficulties learners face. That’s why I am passionate about helping people who want to learn Korean. I am confident in my ability to teach Korean effectively and provide lessons that are both engaging and practical. My goal is to make learning Korean enjoyable while helping you achieve real progress. I have extensive teaching and mentoring experience in multilingual learning environments. For the past two years, I have provided one-on-one Chinese tutoring to over ten Korean students, designing lessons based on individual levels and learning goals. During university, I spent three years mentoring international freshmen, offering academic support in English, Korean, and Chinese. I explained Korean-major courses in English or Chinese and guided students through university systems. By maintaining a friendly learning environment and applying customized curricula, I achieved high student satisfaction and engagement.
