I was using the app from my car which turns out to not be ideal. He was very patient, friendly and we had a great conversation. I will definitely book with him again, I didn’t give him much of an opportunity for planning the next schedule as I will need to also plan when I can be available at home with a better connection.

Walter is such a supportive teacher, especially for a very strange student like me! I have a relatively good passive grasp of the language, but have never formally studied it. I avoided paying for a Spanish class where I live, because I was worried that it would either go too slowly and bore me, or that I would be in a level I couldn't handle. Luckily for me, Walter has been incredibly flexible and supportive. Each lesson, we start with a free conversation, which is a great way to get warmed up. He always makes sure to write the new words I learn in the chat box on Skype, so I can write them down after each lesson. Then, every week, he gives me a homework assignment to teach me grammar. He always gives a manageable amount, just enough so that I feel I know the rule and can apply it. Then, we have a structured conversation about a specific topic so I can learn new vocab and put the grammar to use. Muchas gracias, Walter!
