I am a 23-year-old French teacher living in Paris. I spent almost all my life in New Caledonia making me a French citizen, but with a different perspective on the language and what it means to be French.
Je suis une jeune enseignante de FLE de 23 ans installée à Paris. J'ai vécu presque toute ma vie en Nouvelle-Calédonie ce qui fait que je suis française mais j'ai une vision différente de ce que être Français et parler cette langue impliquent.Me as a Teacher
My deeply rooted love for languages made me cross the ocean to study in la Sorbonne Nouvelle and be able to become the best teacher possible. I am very passionate about my job, and I pour a lot of energy into my classes.
As I am currently doing a PHD on a topic concerning French linguistic and cultural aspects, I can also put my academic knowledge at your service.
J'ai toujours aimé les langues et c'est en partie grâce à cela que j'ai pu être diplômée de la Sorbonne Nouvelle en Didactique du FLE. J'adore mon métier et vous allez vite voir que je mets beaucoup d'énergie dans mes cours.

I like to teach in a fun and accessible way to put my students at ease. My lessons are stress-free and entertaining as I like to incorporate games and/or activities that correspond to my students' study interests. I also like to use different types of materials as it is the best way to stay focused and to keep my students' interest awake.
J'essaye de rendre mes cours les plus accessibles et amusants possible pour que mes étudiants se sentent à l'aise. Pas de stress dans ma classe, on s'amuse et on apprend avec des techniques qui nous conviennent. J'aime beaucoup varier les matériaux pour m'assurer que mes étudiants ne s'ennuient pas. Such an amazing teacher. Mary Lou keeps the lesson fun, and well paced…I never feel she goes too fast or too slow. She’s always well prepared with plenty of different materials. No lesson is the same. She’s always very cheerful, she never makes me feel embarrassed about my many mistakes, and she’s so patient. She was happy to change her thoughts on some lesson plans to fit with my requests. Couldn’t recommend her more highly! Thanks Marylou!
