Music, in fact, appears to have been in me my entire life, although Mom says it started in her belly! I actually found it at 12, when I learned guitar. It actually got me through a very tough time; Henok Temesgen's music simply spoke to me then. In addition to that, basketball, which I adore since the age of ten, taught me valuable things about real teamwork. And for pure escapism, nothing can beat a Sidney Sheldon thriller. Now that I am starting Software Engineering here in Ethiopia, my grand vision is well-defined: utilize technology to decrease poverty in my country. My interests are more than hobbies; they fuel my passion to work towards shaping a better future for my country.Me as a Teacher
Me as a Teacher
For me, teaching is just a true passion. I genuinely love helping anyone who's eager to learn, always trying to build a supportive space where curiosity can really thrive. I usually lean into lively conversation, and bringing in great books or magazines to make lessons feel practical. My own approach, patient and adaptable, really sharpened up from tutoring diverse classmates from many background back in high school and college. That taught me so much about truly clicking with each student. My biggest goal while teaching is simply seeing students grab hold of new ideas and just flourish. My lessons & teaching style
When I teach, I really aim for a full grasp of the language. I love pulling in books, articles, magazines, and poetry to explore all sorts of linguistic details and cultural ideas. This broad exposure helps students genuinely feel how diverse language can be. I strongly encourage verbal communication and debates; it's fantastic for sharpening critical thinking and fluent expression. Plus, I'll often give out assignments—like creative writing or analysis—to really cement their understanding. My goal is always to help students become confident, clear communicators. My teaching material
