Friendly instructor! We also have a fun course with Manga videos♪ Hello, my name is Maki. I majored in Japanese at university and studied Japanese language education. I am currently raising children, so I also know a lot about parenting in Japan. I worked for many years in the advertising industry. I love both domestic and international travel, and my dream is to go on a trip around the world. I have a great love for anime, especially Studio Ghibli. For intermediate learners, I also offer a special course using YouTube manga videos. In this class, we watch Japanese manga with subtitles and study together. It is recommended for who feel a little bored with ordinary lessons. I understand some English, but in lessons I use easy Japanese. I majored in Japanese at university and studied Japanese language education. I also have experience teaching Japanese as a volunteer. My experience is limited, but I will do my best to respond to the enthusiasm of my students. I use the textbook Genki to teach grammar and conversation. For intermediate learners, I offer a course that uses Japanese manga videos as learning materials, so you can enjoy studying grammar and culture together. I understand some English, but in lessons I use easy Japanese.

Maki Sensei is by far the best Japanese teacher I have ever had, and I would recommend her lessons to both beginners and more experienced Japanese students. You can be assured that lessons with her will help you improve your Japanese while also making the learning process enjoyable. You will feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning and understanding new words. I highly recommend choosing Maki-san as your new Nihongo sensei! P.S. I would like to thank Maki-san for all her incredible work so far and for supporting me throughout my Japanese learning journey. I truly appreciate all the help, patience, and encouragement she has given me!
