こんにちは! I’m Junko (じゅんこ).
Thank you for your interest in my lesson.
I was born and raised in rural Japan and now I share my language and culture in the US—with years of living abroad enriching my lessons.

It is totally okay to make mistakes because we can learn and grow from that.
I have been teaching Japanese for about 3 years to all ages from toddlers to adults of various levels.
Also, I always try my best to create a comfortable atmosphere so you don't feel pressured or too shy to express yourself.
I specialize in helping learners speak confidently, using real-life topics and a Genki text book for grammar.
I can explain in English if or when needed as well.

I've loved learning Japanese with Junko! I'm getting a lot of talking practice in and Junko helps a lot with breaking down new words, conjugations and sentence structures as they come up and also helping me with more natural ways of saying things. It's been really helpful doing a little everyday with her!
