I have a deep love for music, especially the piano, and I enjoy exploring different cultures and societies. My interests include International Relations, Geography, History, and Politics, so I love having meaningful discussions about global topics. I am a certified Korean language teacher, holding a teaching license from the National Institute of Korean Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped students from diverse backgrounds, including Korean adoptees while I was in the USA.
As a teacher, I focus on motivation and active learning. I encourage students to think, apply, and solve challenges on their own because I believe hands-on practice leads to better understanding. But don't worry—I’m always here to guide and support you if things feel too difficult! My goal is to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and effective for every student. My lessons & teaching style
📚 Grammar Lessons:
I use a structured book series to teach grammar. Each lesson includes clear explanations, exercises, and practice activities to help reinforce your understanding. We typically cover one chapter per lesson, but I adjust the pace based on your needs.
🗣️ Conversation Lessons:
We choose a topic together—news articles, blogs, videos, or books—and discuss it in depth. For beginners, we start with basic expressions and repeat them naturally throughout the lesson to build confidence.

I really enjoy learning with Byeongho 선생님 . He challenges me in just the right way, encourages me when I get stuck, and always gets me speaking more Korean each lesson. I feel comfortable making mistakes because he corrects me kindly, and I can tell I’m improving. His classes are always fun and motivating, and I look forward to them every week.

Very happy with the progress I've made with Byeongho over the last year and a half. With his help, I've gone from only knowing Hangeul to being able to have my lessons mostly conducted in Korean.
