Excellent lesson with Tsion! Tsion started by asking questions about material that we covered in previous lessons. She was patient as I tried to remember some of the answers. Tsion also explained about the calendar in Ethiopia and about some of the culture and traditions, which really helps me feel connected. Tsion is positive and enthusiastic, I get motivated more each lesson!

Wonderful lesson with Tsion! Tsion encouraged me a lot even when I couldn't remember a word that we learned in the last lesson. We covered a lot of ground by learning/reviewing question words, the members of the family, numbers, days of the week and colors. Tsion also taught me new vocabulary for meals and food. Tsion has a great personality that makes her lessons very enjoyable!

I had my first lesson with Tsion, and it went very well. Tsion prepared the lesson material and sent it to me so that I could review before class. During class, Tsion helped me pronounce the new words correctly. We learned greetings and basic vocabulary and were able to put together some simple sentences. Tsion was very nice, supportive and helpful!

She explained the different forms the verb takes depending on the situation (including who the listener is). Tsion helped me with pronunciation of the difficult words by breaking down each syllable. Tsion is very supportive and brings the positive energy!

Great lesson with Tsion! We did a short review of the vocabulary from the last lesson. After that, we learned about the "wh" question words and the days of the week. Tsion helped me pronounce the words correctly and gave me good feedback about my pronunciation. Tsion is very encouraging and I like how she enjoys talking about her culture!
