I’m a Russian language teacher, and for more than a decade, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students turn Russian from a language they’re learning into a language they can actually use. I’ve been teaching since 2013, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing a student gain the confidence to speak Russian for the first time. I’ve worked with students from different backgrounds and at different levels, including complete beginners who were starting from zero. One of my favorite teaching moments was helping a complete beginner start speaking simple Russian within just a few weeks. Seeing a student go from “I don’t understand anything” to having their first real conversation is one of the best parts of teaching for me. My lessons are practical, engaging, and built around real communication. I don’t want you to spend the whole lesson memorizing grammar rules and wondering when you’ll actually use them. We’ll speak, listen, learn useful vocabulary, work on pronunciation, and use grammar in a way that makes sense. I also believe lessons should feel comfortable and enjoyable. I adapt my teaching to your level, goals, and pace, whether you’re learning Russian for travel, work, study, everyday conversations, or simply because you love the language.
