I am 30 years old and from Florida, USA. I lived in Taiwan for 3 years and taught English at an international school, public elementary school, and an after-school program for kids. I currently live in Osaka, Japan where I worked as an English instructor for adults. Now I teach fully online, and get to meet people from all over the world.
I am here to help you improve your spoken English. I also love learning languages, and the best way to do so is with a native speaker who can correct your grammar and pronunciation, teach you new phrases, and build your confidence through conversation practice.

While I have a TEFL certification and a master's and bachelor's degree in East Asian Studies, I bring a relaxed, friendly style to our classroom. My goal is to help build your confidence in the language so you can go out in real life and speak with native English speakers. Because I love learning languages, I bring that enthusiasm into our conversations. We get to learn from each other, and have a good time!

This is your chance to practice speaking with a native English speaker. We will have relaxed conversation lessons that will help build your confidence. Our first class will be getting to know each other and learning your goals and interests.
Your English level and confidence will steadily improve with each lesson. If you stay consistent, you will see great progress. Don't give up! It takes months and months to learn a language, not a couple lessons here and there.
I have learned to speak Chinese and Japanese. We are on the same journey. I did this by conversing as much as possible with native speakers online and with friends. It takes time. If I can do it, so can you. It's an adventure!My teaching material

He encourages me to speak as much as possible in a comfortable atmosphere. He corrects and teaches me what is wrong while talking, helping us to correct it. It was a fun class because he constantly brought up the topic of conversation throughout the class.
