My name is Amani, a native Swahili speaker from Tanzania, East Africa, with a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) and over 7 years of experience teaching Swahili to foreign learners at different levels beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
I specialize in teaching conversational Swahili, grammar, business Swahili, and cultural expressions, tailoring my lessons to meet the needs of each student. My lessons are designed to be student-centered, flexible, and practical. I take time to understand each learner’s goals whether it is for travel, work, business, academics, or personal interest and then tailor the lessons to meet those needs.
I combine conversational practice, grammar exercises, vocabulary building, and cultural insights to ensure students develop well-rounded language skills. I also use role-plays, real-life examples, songs, stories, and day-to-day expressions to make lessons engaging and fun.
