My name is Samrawit Geremew. I am from Ethiopia currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. I am 29 years old with architectural background. I have been working with my field for the past 5 years and tutoring students simultaneously. I love reading, writing, listening to music, hiking and spending time with my loved ones. The reason I am diverting from my field is because the love I have for teaching is dominating and as I have a strong background in teaching, I have been passionate about it since long and I decided that its my time to do what I really love and here I am. If you sign up for my class, we are going to have so much fun with a great understanding of the course.
Me as a Teacher
To become an effective teacher, patience, empathy, and strong communication are essential. A teacher needs to be adaptable, creative, and organized to meet diverse student needs. Problem-solving skills help in overcoming challenges, while enthusiasm and leadership inspire students to engage and respect learning. Cultural sensitivity and self-reflection promote an inclusive environment. Time management and resilience ensure that teachers can handle responsibilities effectively. Collaboration with colleagues and families further enhances student success and growth. I am confident enough I have what it takes to become a good teacher.
My lessons & teaching style
I will be teaching from the elementary alphabet upto the complex Grammar and writing with reading according to my students' need. I focus on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. I believe that learning should be an interactive process, where students are not just passive recipients of information but active contributors to their own learning journey. My teaching style is student-centered, allowing for flexibility in lesson delivery to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. I often incorporate multimedia, group activities, and real-world examples to make the material relatable and meaningful.
