I’m Christopher, or Chris, and I'd love to be your calm and supportive guide for German and/or Swedish. I specialize in helping learners who have a tendency to see themselves as shy, introverted, highly sensitive, or have had challenging experiences with teachers.
I approach language learning like children do: exploring new words and expressions, using them freely, and making mistakes safely.
Having relocated from Germany to Sweden in 2002, I know the challenges of adapting to a new language and culture firsthand.
My lessons are playful, stress-free, confidence-building, and designed to help you enjoy speaking while making real progress.Me as a Teacher
I bring patience, life experience, and genuine curiosity to every lesson. I create a safe, respectful space where you can speak at your own pace, explore meaningful topics, and feel fully heard.
Corrections are gentle and only when helpful. My focus is on building confidence, fluency, and comfort — not performance.
Many students appreciate my calm, reflective approach and often share personal experiences, knowing everything remains confidential. I adapt to your needs while keeping lessons engaging, insightful, and enjoyable. My lessons & teaching style
I offer two types of lessons:
Warm & Safe Conversation Practice – relaxed, supportive, perfect for shy or introverted learners, highly sensitive students, or those who want confidence-building in a safe space.
Thoughtful Conversation / Premium – calm, reflective, and ideal for learners who enjoy depth, perspective, and meaningful discussion.
All lessons are preferably held via Zoom or Google Meet. We focus on real conversation, playful exploration of language, and natural progress, making learning fun, stress-free, and effective.My teaching material
