German & Swedish Conversational Mentor – low-anxiety, judgment-free environment I'm Christopher, a native German speaker, fluent in Swedish, and I made the move from Germany to Sweden myself over 20 years ago. I know firsthand what it's like to build a new life in another language. I teach the way we naturally learn: through curious exploration, real conversation, and the freedom to make mistakes without judgment. My lessons are for people who want to feel safe, heard, and genuinely comfortable. No grammar drills, no evaluation, no pressure. Just meaningful conversation, at your own pace, in your own words. Through my background as a teacher and coach, I've also worked with autistic and neurodivergent students. I pay close attention to how each person prefers to communicate, and I'm always happy to hear directly from you about what works best for you. If you've ever felt judged, rushed, or evaluated in a language lesson, then you'll experience my approach as different entirely. Corrections are gentle and only offered when they're genuinely helpful. My focus is on building confidence and fluency, not performance. Everything you share with me stays between us. Many students use our lessons to explore real topics from their lives, sometimes light and fun, sometimes more personal. Know it's always held in confidence. I bring patience, life experience, and genuine curiosity to every lesson, and I adapt to what you personally need — whether that's structure, flexibility, deep conversation, or simply space to think out loud.
