Antonio

When I started with Antonio, I was at an intermediate level of italian, but I was afraid to speak. I had been stuck at this same level for many years. With Antonio's suggestions and encouragement, I quickly got over my fear and immediately felt comfortable speaking more fluently. Antonio also has brought my italian to the next level with excellent constructive feedback and lessons tailored to my particular deficiencies. I feel as if Antonio has opened up a new world to me, and for this I am grateful.

I have been working with Antonio for almost two months now on conversational Italian. Antonio is a fantastic teacher and in every lesson I learn something new: grammar, history, slang, proper pronunciation. Most of the time Antonio and I talk about a topic and lose track of time; conversations flow very easily! Antonio has helped me to gain the confidence that I needed and has helped to challenge my understanding of the language. I highly recommend him as an Italian teacher regardless of your level; he is extremely knowledgable, patient, and fun. Grazie Antonio!

Antonio’s approach is very collaborative, speaks very clearly indeed and at a well judged pace. He shows real interest in the topics and helpfully interjects only when he judges it to be particularly helpful.

Antonio was sensitive to my needs. I wanted to focus on speaking, so that is what Antonio did. He also helped me to find the right vocabulary, and corrected me from time to time without interrupting the flow of the conversation. In other words, there was a good balance in the lesson, and I was given the opportunity to experiment , using vocabulary I hadn't used before.
