My name is Kristina. I am 36 years old. I am from Ukraine, i have lived in the UK for 3 years. I have earned a master's degree and finished PhD studies in Kyiv in Polish and Ukrainian languages. In my free time I like to experiment in cooking, have walks in fresh air, do sports, puzzles and travel whenever there is such opportunity. I am not married, don't have children but like to work with them.Me as a Teacher
Ukrainian is not only my mother tongue but an area of expertise. At school, I participated in numerous competitions in the Ukrainian language. For my university, I won the Grand Prix in a spelling competition in Polish (60% similarity with Ukrainian) for the first time in university's history. I have been teaching Ukrainian and Polish for around 4 years as of now. Also, I speak English and Russian at an advanced level. You may see no certificates in my profile, but this is only because my master's degree allowed me to dive in teaching as well as translation and writing careers straight away. I enjoy working with both children and adults ☺️ My lessons & teaching style
I have experience in teaching Ukrainian to both children and adults from zero to C1 level. In my lessons, I use a variety of materials depending on the level and age of the student (textbooks, pictures, videos, films, etc.). I prepare my students for exams, switching from Russian / surzhyk to Ukrainian, studies and work, business trips, job interviews, etc. I have gathered a number of useful materials and created a universal program for a "typical" Ukrainian language learner. it contains all the necessary chapters like:
