Amazing lesson with Mapati. We learned how to describe a picture and this helped me a lot to practice making my own sentences. She gently correct my mistakes and encouraged me all of the time.

Great lesson with Mapati! We continued learning about family and relationships. Mapati told me a bit more about different culture in Kenya and about an interesting book that she is reading. Mapati did a great job of explaining how the new vocabulary fits into sentences!

Great lesson with Mapati. Firstly, she reviewed my homework and corrected some of my mistakes then we proceeded with learning how to use relative pronouns like who, which, whom in Swahili. We also learned how to use them with the Ki-Vi and M-Wa noun classes. Mapati did a great job explaining the grammar to me in an easy to understand way.

Great lesson with Mapati! We continued talking about family and relationships. Mapati also asked me to translate several sentences from English. Mapati did a great job of explaining the new vocabulary words and reminding me of the words that we learned but I didn't remember!

I had another nice lesson with Mapati. We learned how to change the verb in order to say that we performed the action to someone else. Mapati explained the grammar clearly and helped me to understand it.
