Hello, I'm a Japanese tutor and picture book writer Hello! My name is Miyako. I am a Japanese tutor with experience teaching more than 1000 hours online. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, especially for beginners. I believe making mistakes is a natural part of learning, so you don’t need to worry about speaking perfectly. I love traveling, art, and culture, and I enjoy meeting people from different countries. We can talk about daily life, hobbies, or Japanese culture in my lessons. As a teacher, I focus on creating a calm and friendly learning environment. We learn basic grammar step by step using short video clips and simple examples. Together, we break down the meaning of conversations and practice one grammar point at a time by checking example sentences and creating our own. I also share information about Japanese culture and entertainment to make lessons more enjoyable and natural. As your speaking skills grow, we spend 5 to 15 minutes on free conversation to build confidence. For intermediate learners, lessons can focus entirely on conversation practice.
