Teacher of Italian as a second language, especially to beginner and intermediate students My name is Giulia and I come from Tuscany. I have been teaching Italian as a second language for five years. I love reading, the Italian art, and exploring Tuscany, and I really like creating conversation classes around those topics. I also love eating, so we can talk about Italian cuisine, why not! I specialise in teaching grammar and conversation to adult beginner students. I am a very extroverted and sociable person and I like spending time around people, therefore I love spending time with my students, helping them learning my language. My favourite teaching methods are games, short films, but also standard grammar exercises. My classes are created to let my students feel at ease when speking Italian. To me, it is important to create a fun and informal setting where students can learn, without worrying of making mistakes.

Giulia is an amazing teacher, always entertaining, I love her method of teaching. She’s very encouraging and love that we don’t only read but also practice a lot of speaking on different topics. Grazie!

I have felt very comfortable learning with Giulia. I really appreciate her patience with me as I work through my speech during class. She's provided a structure that I find very supportive of my learning, from having me speak and read in class to homework assignments to deepen what I've learned during our sessions. I have certainly learned a lot during the past two months we've worked together, and I am excited to continue working with her to become conversational in Italian. Thank you, Giulia!
