Shalom! I’m Ran Heilbrunn, originally from Israel, now based in Munich. I’m a lecturer and writer in Hebrew and English, teaching academic English at Wittenborg University and publishing on philosophy, technology, and culture. Hebrew is my native language, and I hold a linguistic editor certificate from Haifa University. I love reading, movies, and discussing culture, which I often bring into lessons to make learning engaging and relevant.Me as a Teacher

LecturerAt Wittenborg University’s Munich campus, I teach beginner and advanced academic English, as well as IELTS preparation courses. I help students develop reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, emphasizing clarity, structure, and personal expression. My focus is on guiding learners to find their own voice, build confidence, and communicate effectively in academic and real-world contexts.

Master's - Theater and Performance StudiesI studied the history and theory of theater, completing my MA work on the German playwright Georg Büchner. I received the maximum grade of 100 for this work and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

WriterI am a writer in Hebrew and English, publishing on philosophy, technology, politics, and culture. My work has appeared in Israeli magazines like Telem and HaZman HaZeh, and in international outlets such as Newsweek and American Affairs. I am currently working on my first book, exploring the philosophy of Hannah Arendt. Writing is central to my life, shaping how I teach, think, and communicate.
