My fourth lesson
In this lesson, I shared what I had been struggling with and what had been weighing on me these days. I really appreciate Teacher Kurt for listening to me vent so attentively, without making rushed judgments or giving me black-and-white advice.
He cared more about how I was feeling and tried to put himself in my shoes. He also gently encouraged me not to shut myself away in my own world, but to step out and get to know the real world, even when it doesn't always turn out the way I imagine.
Talking with Teacher Kurt, I gradually started to feel better. His thought-provoking words really gave me a fresh perspective and made me think deeply about many things. Some of his words may stay with me for a long time and become a meaningful milestone in my life.
A simple "thank you" doesn't feel like enough to express how grateful I am.

My fifth Lesson
In this lesson, we talked about our past experiences and communication apps. What surprised me most was that Teacher Kurt had already had a WeChat account around 2012, even earlier than I did. He also knew about and had used QQ, one of the earliest popular online communication apps in China. All of this left a strong impression on me.
Throughout the lesson, we kept exchanging our experiences and thoughts. I was so engaged in expressing myself and understanding Teacher Kurt's ideas that sometimes I almost forgot I was speaking English. As a result, I picked up new vocabulary and expressions naturally. This is completely different from memorizing vocabulary lists on my own. A big thank-you to Teacher Kurt!

**My Third Lesson **
In this lesson, we talked about a variety of topics, ranging from the one-child policy in China to marriage, trust, and responsibilities. The lesson was informative, engaging, and thought-provoking.
I really enjoyed sharing what I know about my culture and learning about other cultures. Teacher Kurt is really open-minded and always willing to share his own thoughts and experiences with me. A lot of what he shared really opened my eyes and made me think more deeply.
It was also surprising and amazing to hear Teacher Kurt share things he knew about China. I was impressed by how much he knew about Chinese culture and society.
A big thank you to Teacher Kurt!
