Welcome to an immersive linguistic experience where language transcends traditional learning and becomes a dynamic performance. I am Demi, a passionate educator dedicated to exploring the intersections of language, myth, and culture. With a deep appreciation for theater, cinema, literature, and poetry, I bring an artistic and analytical approach to language acquisition. At 32, my journey has been shaped by continuous inquiry and the belief that questioning is the foundation of learning. I thrive in the nuanced space between tragedy and comedy, using these contrasts to foster meaningful communication and self-expression. My goal is to guide you in unlocking fluency through shared exploration.
Me as a Teacher
I am passionate about creating a dynamic, supportive learning environment where every student feels inspired to explore languages through creative, interactive methods. By integrating theater and storytelling, I encourage active participation, build confidence, and deepen cultural understanding. My goal is to help students master language skills and express themselves clearly and authentically. I believe learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and empowering—making each class an opportunity for both linguistic and personal growth.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are just like the flow of the river, like a good novel that takes you on a life adventure and grasps your attention towards details. I totally adore working with improvisation and surrealism, imagination, and spontaneity. This is the core of the language for me. It is a poetic approach towards the language and its usage in one's life, it is living the language and living in the language that allows you to describe this enigmatic world around you. During our classes, I am a midwife that helps you to give birth to a Thought and to a Word with which the thought is described. I also use a lot of theatrical exercises in order to train your imagination and stir up your curiosity.My teaching material
