Before I started tutoring I would legitimately break out in a cold sweat whenever I had to try to speak Korean in front of anyone, even after years of on and off classes. Summer is patient enough to let me try speaking, fail, and she teaches me the correct way to say what I want with no judgement. She stays present in the lessons and sends me a full write up of the notes and grammar concepts afterwards which is helpful so I can actually self study effectively in between classes.

An absolutely fantastic teacher! From the very first lesson, she created a warm, supportive, and highly stimulating atmosphere, which immediately puts you at ease, encouraging you to speak freely and make mistakes without any fear. She is incredibly patient, always smiling, and extremely encouraging. Her explanations are remarkably clear, and she perfectly adapts the pace of the lesson to my needs and level. You can tell she is passionate about teaching and genuinely invested in her students' progress. Each lesson flies by, making the interaction smooth and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Summer to anyone who wants to progress effectively while having a great time.

재은 선생님 is an amazing and incredibly thoughtful teacher. I’ve taken lessons with her for about six months, and I made more progress in my first month than I did in nearly a year of studying on my own. My wife’s family speaks only Korean, and I can now hold conversations with them about many different subjects (with a bit of patience).
