I’m Gabby, a New York-based 🏙️ English teacher with 11 years of experience. 👩‍🏫 Growing up in an Italian-immigrant 🍝 family, I fell in love with how languages connect us—so much that I completed a double major in English and TESL/Spanish/French by 19, even creating my own ESL textbook. 👩‍🎓 📖 But my greatest joy in life is helping others. I love supporting my students as they reach their goals and unlock their full potential. 💪 I never tire of celebrating their success! 🥳 I've helped thousands, both in person and online, and of all ages, levels, and backgrounds to improve their English. I've spent 4,800+ hours teaching children from Asia online, many of whom progressed from beginners to native-like speakers. 💯 Working with children has given me a patient and gentle approach that all students appreciate. 🧸 I've also helped college students 🎓 to prepare for semesters abroad and professionals increase their fluency to advance their careers. 💼 Additionally, I bring an extensive knowledge of writing and grammar. For 5 years, I have written and proofread for newspapers. 📰 I have also taught writing to native speakers. ✍️ In my classroom, you can expect useful and enjoyable lessons.
