Born in the Chicago area but rooted in Spain for 14+ years, I’m a TEFL-certified teacher specializing in *natural, confident English conversation*. What's important to me as a teacher is for my students to feel comfortable speaking in class, not afraid to make mistakes and to be aware of their progress. I do this by creating a relaxed setting, not interrupting my students and correcting necessary mistakes towards the end of my lessons (or even better, having them correct them on their own), and always encouraging them as they move along on their language-learning journey.
