US-based Japanese tutor 🇺🇸 | Friendly, supportive lessons for all levels ✨ Hi! Thank you for your interest in my lessons😊 I was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, and I moved to the U.S. in the early 2000s. I love teaching Japanese, from kids to adults and from beginners to intermediate learners. I offer patient and easy-to-understand lessons for both kids and adults. I help learners build confidence at their own pace. I use the textbook Genki in my lessons and adjust it to the student’s level to make it easy to understand. I also welcome students who want to focus on conversation. Conversation works best when you have someone to talk with, so let's learn new words and phrases through our conversations. These conversation lessons can be useful for situations like traveling in Japan. Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together and take it one step at a time. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel more confident in Japanese!
