Japanese Lessons Tailored to You | 8 Years of Experience • 6,000+ Teaching Hours Hi, I'm Tomo! I've been teaching Japanese professionally for 8 years, helping students from 20+ countries in language schools, universities, government-supported programs, and online. After thousands of teaching hours, I've learned one thing: there's no single best way to learn Japanese. The best way is the one that works for you. One of the reasons I love teaching online is that I can build genuine relationships with my students. That's why I intentionally work with a limited number of students. This allows me to personalize every lesson and support your progress every step of the way. My lessons are relaxed, practical, and enjoyable. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. Seeing my students enjoy Japanese is the best part of my job. Over the years, I've taught with a wide variety of materials, including GENKI, Quartet, and authentic resources. I choose the learning approach that fits you—not the other way around. Every lesson includes personalized notes in a shared Google Doc, giving you your own study notebook. What you can study 📚 Personalized lessons tailored to your goals 🗣 Natural conversation practice 📝 JLPT preparation (N5–N2) 🌍 English support whenever you need it 💻 Personalized Google Doc notes Trial Lesson Let's get to know each other and find the learning style that works best for you. I hope our lessons become something you look forward to while building real confidence in Japanese.

Thank you again, Tomo, for another excellent lesson. Much of what she reviewed with me before the JLPT actually appeared on the exam, which shows just how experienced she is and how well she understands the test. She always makes sure I fully understand each point before moving on. On top of that, she’s genuinely funny and makes every lesson enjoyable!
