Lumela! My name is Kananelo, and I am from the beautiful mountain kingdom of Lesotho. I am a native Sesotho speaker, and I am passionate about helping people learn this unique and expressive language.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on conversation and real-life use. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your speaking skills, I will guide you step by step, with lessons tailored to your level and goals.
In our classes, we'll explore vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and also the beauty of Basotho culture, because learning a language is also about understanding the people who speak it.

Me as a Teacher
As a Sesotho teacher, I focus on creating a warm and encouraging space for my students. I believe that learning a new language should be enjoyable and personal. My lessons are interactive and they include speaking practices, role-plays, storytelling, and real-life examples to help you use Sesotho confidently.
I adapt each lesson to suit your learning style and goals. Whether you want to learn Sesotho for travel, work, or cultural connection, I will guide you step by step. My main goal is to make you feel comfortable, understood, and inspired to keep learning.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is friendly, flexible, and focused on communication. I believe the best way to learn Sesotho is by speaking it often and enjoying the process.
In my lessons, I use real-life examples, songs, stories, and cultural expressions to make the learning experience meaningful and fun.
Each lesson is designed according to your goals, whether you want to learn basic conversation, improve pronunciation, or explore the deeper beauty of Basotho culture. I provide clear explanations, gentle correction, and lots of encouragement to help you grow with confidence.
Learning with me feels like chatting with a patient friend who helps you understand, speak, and love Sesotho naturally.

She is very friendly and earnest. I’m grateful to be learning this language from anyone at all, but it is especially nice when it is from someone so eager to help me learn. The effort and care shows.
