Stop memorizing Chinese. Start using it. 🌱 |Conversational Chinese | HSK | Northern Accent Hi there! I’m Silver, a native Mandarin speaker from Northern China and a CTCSOL-certified Chinese tutor. If you're tired of textbook conversations and memorizing things you'll never actually use, you might have found the right teacher. 😊 I believe Chinese learning should be practical, natural, and connected to your real life. Instead of simply following a textbook, I want to understand what you want to achieve, what you already know, and where you're getting stuck, then build our lessons around your needs. I've been teaching languages for 3 years, working with beginner to intermediate learners. My lessons include conversational Chinese, HSK preparation, listening and speaking, pronunciation and tones, travel/business Chinese, and Chinese culture and everyday expressions. I use textbooks as well as real-life conversations, videos, audio, and personalized materials. I also bring my experience as an English learner and teacher into my lessons, so I understand how challenging it can be to learn Chinese from a different language background. You don't need to know a lot of Chinese before you start speaking it. If you've been studying Chinese but still feel like you can't really use it in real life, I'd love to help you figure out what's holding you back. Let's make Chinese something you actually use, not just another subject you study. 🌱 Book a trial lesson, and let's start making Chinese feel more natural together!
