Xiaomin is an excellent teacher! She is positive, supportive, and very patient. Her explanations are clear and she always encourages me to try to express myself in Chinese. The after-lesson-notes are also very useful to me. I truly enjoyed our first five lessons, and decided to book more.

I have continued to enjoy my classes with Teacher Xiaomin, my Chinese has improved a lot and it is great that she is able to effectively conduct the classes around my needs.

Alexandra is amazing at adapting lessons around individual needs. I’ve only taken 3 classes, but I’ve learned so much more than I could have on my own in the same amount of time. She is very efficient and constructive with lessons and she has an easygoing and encouraging energy that makes you comfortable and happy to learn. Everything she teaches builds on previous lessons and the pace is perfect for me. Especially if you are a beginner, Alexandra is the perfect choice for you!

Great first class, exactly what I was looking for!

I’ve had three lessons with Xiaomin and have really enjoyed learning with her. She teaches almost in Chinese, which is what I was looking for, and she explains new words and grammar in simple Chinese that I can understand. She is patient, encouraging and happy to adapt her lessons to my learning style. After I asked for more conversation and role-play practice, she immediately incorporated it into the next lesson. I also appreciate that she sends clear lesson notes afterwards, which makes it easy to review and create flashcards. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their conversational Chinese.

Another great lesson. I learned a lot again and had a great time doing it. Alexandra is very good in her craft. I always look forward to our next lesson now, because I know she will answer all my questions and give me great material.
