Hi everyone! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from Hangzhou, China, now living in Canada. I hold an MBA and a Master’s degree in Education from North America, and I’m also a CTCSOL-certified Chinese teacher. Before becoming a full-time Chinese tutor, I worked for several years in both the business and education fields in China. Outside of teaching, I’m a writer and fiction author who loves reading, cooking, and travelling. These hobbies often find their way into my lessons and conversations, helping my students experience the real culture behind the language.Me as a Teacher
As a certified Mandarin teacher, I’ve taught students from beginner to advanced levels—helping them improve pronunciation, expand vocabulary, and gain cultural insight. My teaching is student-centred, with a focus on communication, confidence, and real-life use. I believe learning Chinese should be enjoyable and meaningful. I often use real-life dialogues and cultural topics to help students connect language with daily life. We also practice through short stories and role-plays, which make learning more engaging and practical. I pay special attention to pronunciation and tones, helping you sound natural and confident. After each class, I provide personalized notes and feedback so you can review and keep improving step by step. Master of Business Administration (MBA) - University of Manitoba - 2021This MBA program included formal training in business communication, management, leadership, and cross-cultural interaction. It required completing accredited coursework, case analysis, and applied business projects.
