My name is Fewzi, I’m 30 years old and originally from Algeria. I currently live in Ottawa, Canada. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Molecular Genetics and have a strong background in both science and teaching.
I’ve always been passionate about languages and communication. I speak French, Maghrebine Arabic and English fluently and I’m currently improving Japanese. I love exploring different cultures, playing video games, watching movies, and reading.
Languages have always been more than just a skill for me, they’re a way to connect with people from all over the world. Teaching them is not only a passion, but also a true vocation.Me as a Teacher
As a tutor, I share the learning strategies that have helped me master several languages myself. I focus on helping students build a solid foundation in French, from vocabulary and grammar to pronunciation and conversation, while keeping every class engaging and adapted to their interests.
I always personalize my lessons depending on the student’s goals, whether they’re learning French for travel, studies, exams (such as TCF or DALF), or professional use. My main goal is to make learning enjoyable and confidence-building for each student. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are centered on conversation and real-life situations. I help beginners learn the basics step by step and guide intermediate or advanced learners toward fluency and natural expression.
I often use authentic materials such as TV5Monde videos, news articles, songs, and short dialogues to make lessons dynamic and relevant. Depending on the student’s level, I can simplify or enrich the content, and I always encourage curiosity and active participation.
My approach is friendly, patient, and goal-oriented. Together we’ll build your confidence and make learning French an enjoyable journey.My teaching material
