Hi ! My name is Soltana (but my nickname is Tana), and I'm a veterinarian from Algeria. I'm fluent in French, English, and Maghrebi Arabic, and I have a solid grasp of Modern Standard Arabic. I live in the beautiful capital city of Algiers, and my hobbies include reading, arts and crafts, and music.
Salut ! Je m'appelle Soltana (mais vous pouvez m'appeler Tana), et je suis une vétérinaire algérienne. Je parle couramment le français, l'anglais, et l'arabe maghrébin (ou darja). Je possède également des bases solides en arabe standard moderne. J'habite à Alger, et j'aime la musique, la littérature, et les arts plastiques.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher and community tutor, I get a lot of gratification out of conveying information in accessible ways, and making learning easy and fun for my students! I believe people learn best when they are comfortable and engaged, and will do my very best to make sure my students are at ease and find my lessons interesting. I am very patient, and do not mind meeting you where you are.

I can adapt my lessons to each student's expectations and goals. I can put together and provide teaching material depending on your interests or the specific area you want to work on, such as medical terminology, general grammar, useful phrases to know while travelling... I can also help you practice your speaking skills by having conversations, or help you analyse scientific articles.

It feels like chatting with a French-speaking person on the street. I can actually hold a real conversation. My teacher has a plan for our discussions, but it’s not overly structured, so it feels natural and comfortable. It’s almost like talking with a friend in French.
