Me as a Teacher
Korean and English are very different languages.
The way people say thing is different and the word order is also very different.
(In Korean, the verb comes last).
For example, in English, we say "What are you talking about?"
But in Korean, we say "What kind of saying is it? (=무슨 말이에요?)"
Also, in English, we say "Happy birthday."
But in Korean, we say "Birthday congratulations (= 생일 축하해요)."
Example like these show just how different English and Korean are.
If we literally translate English to Korean, it sound very unnatural.
So, when we study Korean, memorizing natural Korean sentences is very important.
I will teach you how to make natural Korean sentences.

This has been the best experience I’ve had on iTalki so far! The teacher is incredibly professional and kind. He writes down everything during the lesson so you can reference the notes later, and he clearly highlights new vocabulary and corrects mistakes in a helpful way. It’s honestly the most useful Korean conversation practice I’ve ever had in my life! I’m learning so much from these conversations, and we're able to talk about Korean culture as well. He adjusts his speaking level to match your comfort while still challenging you with new sentences, and if you don’t understand something, he patiently breaks it down until it’s clear. Highly recommend booking this teacher!

Danny/지훈 is probably the best teacher on this website, and has been one of the greatest resources for me as I continue to learn Korean.
He is super accommodating to all of my requests, answers every question extremely thoroughly, and is extremely knowledgeable about Korean.
His English is excellent as well, so beginners like myself will have no problem asking questions in English. I have had no problems understanding Danny whenever he was explaining something to me.
Obviously his Korean is excellent as well, and can teach in however way you want. Currently I want to learn formal (존대말) and so he has been teaching me in exclusively that.
If you can schedule a lesson with Danny, I would highly recommend it. His price is extremely fair, and what you get out of it will help you a ton.
