Hello! My name is Will and I am from the United States. I am here to help you become more confident speaking English. As an avid learner of foreign languages, I know the challenges and joys that come with trying to express yourself in a new language. I currently live in Gdańsk, Poland. I love learning the beautiful Polish language through listening, reading and talking with native speakers via italki. Thanks to all the Polish lessons I have taken on italki, I am now able to make friends with native speakers in Polish! I have seen how useful and effective conversations with native speakers are, and I want to use the same techniques to help others learn my native language. I have helped many students and friends improve their confidence speaking English through conversations. I have come to understand that most English learners know more English than they give themselves credit for. I always encourage students and friends to be proud of the English they are able to use, and I am happy to give pointers on the way. Language is a tool for communication, so when we meet, our focus will be conversation-based. We can discuss your interests, or I can propose topics to discuss in each lesson. Will is a brilliant and exceptional teacher! He goes the extra mile to make his lessons both fun and productive! We touched upon different topics, but I felt like the general flow of the conversation wasn't disrupted. ON THE CONTRARY, every question Will posed was relevant and thought-provoking. Besides, he is a great conversationalist!! I was a bit afraid that I might make a lot of mistakes, but Will was so calm and supportive, that I forgot about my doubts and just enjoyed the conversation! Don't hesitate to book even 20 lessons in advance because every minute with Will is worth it! BEST TEACHER EVER! :) Ah, and I had a couple of those aha moments during the lesson!
