Friendly conversation + practical English for everyday life Hello there, English students, My name is Bart, and I am from San Antonio, Texas, in the United States of America. I have been living in São Paulo, Brazil, for the past ten years. A little about me personally, I love meeting new people from all over the world. I also love to study geography, culture, and foreign languages. I can speak English fluently, Spanish and Portuguese almost fluently. I can also get by in several other languages including Turkish, French, German, Italian, and Japanese. My hobbies include cooking, studying philosophy, staying in shape and collecting perfume. I have a collection of over 300 perfumes! I have over 9 years of teaching experience as an ESL teacher. I have taught students from many countries including Brazil, China, Japan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Italy, France, Poland, and Russia, just to name a few. My classes are flexible and can vary depending on the students' needs and preferences. So my classes can be very structured, but they can also be relaxed and easy-going. I tend to adapt to whatever the student prefers. Some students like to have free topic conversation classes that are challenging but interesting and engaging, but other students prefer to focus on grammar or vocabulary. I always pay attention to the students' use of the language and offer corrections as needed. My classes are relaxed, friendly, and flexible.
