Hi everyone! I’m Elise. I was born and raised in France and moved to Seattle at 17 when my parents opened a French bakery. I earned a BA in French and an MBA in international business, worked at the bakery, translated French for cruise companies, and volunteered with the French American Chamber of Commerce. I now live in Vancouver, work in tech, and love helping others learn French. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, and cooking.

Me as a Teacher

I am a very patient teacher, and building a strong, positive relationship with each learner is important to me. I genuinely love seeing people grow and progress in their French journey. I always bring great energy to our lessons and make sure you feel confident and supported during and after each session.

My lessons & teaching style

I always adapt to each learner’s level, so it’s important for me to understand where you want to improve — whether it’s speaking, writing, or reading. I create personalized lessons based on your goals in French, and we can adjust and refine our approach anytime based on your feedback. I also love making the learning experience fun and interactive. We can do a variety of activities, such as exercises, conversations in French, and focused practice depending on your goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking, writing, or reading skills, or you're preparing for a French exams , I can support you. We’ll adapt our lessons based on your feedback to make sure they truly fit your needs.
